Smogavc Farm and Guesthouse is a family-owned business built in heartfelt traditions that began in 1988.

For over 30 years we have been located along the edge of the picturesque village of Gorenje pri Zrečah near Zreče, on the southeast side of Pohorje, at an altitude of 760 m. Since developing our vision in 1988, our company has evolved from a small village guesthouse into an integral regional tourism destination. Today we offer local cuisine enriched with seasonal flavors and ingredients produced on local farms, as well as accommoda- tion in spacious rooms and apartments that feature modern furnishings and a touch of Pohorje style.

Just 700 m below Rogla, you can even add a little wellness to your stay with experiences in our unique wooden cottage spa.

From wellness activities to unique local cuisine there is plenty to experience at the Smogavc Guesthouse and Farm, and you can enjoy them all while taking in incredible panoramic views of the valley towards the towns of Zreče and Slovenske Konjice. Our view extends from the hills above the Zasavje and Celje basin, through the Dravinja valley and all the way to the far off Zagreb Sljeme.

At the Smogavc Guesthouse you’ll experience over 30 years of traditional local cuisine. Our offerings are inspired by local Pohorje customs and the traditional recipes of the area. Our menu changes seasonally to offer a range of dining experiences designed to adapt with the availability of local and seasonal ingredients.

Whenever we can, we do our best to include local products and as many raw ingredients from our farm’s green- house, fields and orchards as we can.
